The National Communications Authority, which regulates telecommunications in Ghana under the Electronic Communications Act 2008 (Act 775).
It licenses the mobile networks and internet providers, allocates spectrum, sets quality-of-service standards and enforces SIM registration.
For a reader it is the escalation point. A network that has billed you for a data bundle it never delivered, or cut a service you paid for, answers to the NCA once you have exhausted its own complaints process - and a written complaint quoting a reference number moves things that a call centre will not.
