Ghana used to issue a separate TIN. Since 2021, the Ghana Card PIN serves as the TIN for individuals, so you do not apply for one — you already have it.
Businesses registered at the ORC receive a TIN as part of registration.
You need it to file taxes, open a business bank account, clear goods at the port, bid for contracts and obtain a tax clearance certificate.
